You and your coworkers are cordially invited to attend the 41st Ontario-Quebec Physical Organic Mini-Symposium (POMs) to be held at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from Friday, November 1 - Sunday, November 3, 2013. The entire event will be held on Concordia's downtown campus, in the Henry F. Hall building.
POMs is an annual short symposium that showcases new developments in all fields of chemical sciences related to physical organic chemistry. In the past, studies in fields such as materials chemistry, bio-organic chemistry, theoretical organic chemistry, mechanistic chemistry and organic photochemistry have been presented. Active participation by graduate students is strongly encouraged.
The format of the program will be similar to that of previous POMs, with contributed oral presentations all day Saturday and Sunday morning, and a poster session Saturday afternoon. Both the traditional welcome mixer on Friday evening and the banquet dinner on Saturday evening will be held on campus.
More information about the mini-symposia may be found at http://faculty.concordia.ca/ostee/poms/
We sincerely hope to see you in Montreal!
